A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to growing kids and cultivating the earth. We operate on a not-for-profit basis, serving solely for the public benefit through innovative gardening education programs.
Our headquarters is located in the beautiful coastal community of Satellite Beach, where year-round growing seasons provide the perfect environment for our educational programs. This prime location allows us to demonstrate sustainable gardening practices in a subtropical climate.
We nurture children's curiosity and connection to nature through hands-on gardening experiences that build confidence, responsibility, and environmental awareness.
Cultivating the Earth
We teach sustainable gardening practices that protect our planet while producing healthy food and beautiful spaces for future generations.
KIDS DIG GARDENING introduces children to gardening and environmental sustainability through hands-on projects and educational programs. Our mission is simple yet powerful: Growing kids, cultivating the earth.
What We Do
Hands-On Learning
Children get their hands dirty planting seeds, tending gardens, and harvesting fresh produce. Our interactive approach makes learning about plants, soil, and ecosystems engaging and memorable through direct experience.
Educational Programs
Structured curricula covering plant biology, nutrition, composting, and environmental stewardship. Age-appropriate lessons connect gardening to science, math, and healthy living concepts.
Environmental Awareness
Teaching sustainable practices like organic gardening, water conservation, and composting. Children learn how their choices impact the environment and develop lifelong eco-friendly habits.
Program Highlights

2
Summer Garden Camps
Intensive week-long programs during school breaks where children dive deep into gardening projects, from seed starting to harvest celebrations. Camps include field trips to local farms and farmers markets.
3
Community Workshops
Family-friendly events teaching practical gardening skills like composting, container gardening, and organic pest control. These sessions strengthen community connections while spreading sustainable practices.

Success Stories
"My daughter Sarah was initially reluctant to try vegetables, but after growing her own cherry tomatoes in the KIDS DIG GARDENING program, she became our family's biggest advocate for healthy eating. She now helps me plan our grocery lists and chooses fresh produce!"
— Maria Rodriguez, Parent
"The garden program transformed our students' engagement with science. They're applying math skills measuring plant growth, learning chemistry through soil testing, and developing responsibility through daily garden care. It's education that sticks."
— Jennifer Walsh, 4th Grade Teacher
